Okay, now I know.
Hey, hate9, why are there JPEG files named "sky_bk", "sky_dn", "sky_fr", "sky_lf", "sky_rt" and "sky_up"?

Ah, finally! Thanks, hate9. I'll play it tomorrow, before rating it. Is it alright if I use Cave Editor to see if I can't find the problem on the title screen?

EDIT:
I've just extracted it, but what's with the "Thumbs.db" file?

Thumbs.db is a system file and i don't know if it's importent so i left it in.
And i would love it if you could help me with the title screen.

and magicdoors, it's a problem with text sound on the title screen.

Text sound? I'll scope it out.
Thumbs.db is useless to CS, delete it.

OK.

Oops, I was looking in the ".zip" file. It wasn't in the extracted folder, though.

they are from a game called stranded 2.
I used .pbms of them in the game (They don't appear in version 0.0.1.3 though.).

I was just exploring the folders to see if there weren't any other unusual files like in the "data" folder, then I noticed some files that I saw from another mod, that apparently was a sequel to a non-existent sequel of Cave Story. Misery with a crown, I think...
The crowned witch is the name of the mod.

Ah yeah, now I remember. Short mod.
NEW THING NEXT TO PROFILE PIC!
Could you please elaborate on that? Or is that to do with the mod?

Careful about double posting, you'll get in trouble for that.

Simple fix to your problem:
Change <MNA<FAI0004 to <MNA<FAI0004<END
(in other words, put in <END)

Woah there, Mr Dissonant.
Your title song needs work. Quite a bit of it. For starters the notes are out of place, the music seems to hurt your ears a little. You need to find a melody that won't cause your listener to ragequit.
Also it's not catchy in the least. It seems like a jumble of mini songs as well. Also it's only one track. Harmonize, man!
I can make/loan you a song if you want, just be forewarned I'm not a pro at this either.

I can try to help, but the best I can do is remake already-existing ones such as Last Battle, Oppression, Running Hell, and Moonsong. And I already remade two beta ORGs, but that doesn't help my skill. I think my custom song will irritate people, though...

Any specifics? Like, mood of the song? I might already have one available depending on what you want.

I honestly don't care, as long as it's better than mine.
EDIT: this thread gained three pages today, wow.

Just played it. I don't know if these are already mentioned, but:
If Curly dies before the game is saved and the player decides to reload, the cutscene plays again. I suggest using a skipflag.
Those yellow drops of acid (?). There are times that they just don't do anything except disappear mid-air. And the third one I found was the lower path, but it wasn't under a block.
There's an invisible block near the two paths. I don't know if it should be there, though.
The cool thing about this mod is that the Save Point is an item. The problem, though, is that the player can save anytime, even when about to die, making an endless loop of dying, reloading, dying, reloading, and so on. In such places, maybe you should move Curly to the start point of that map instead, preventing the loop.

Oh, also. I forgot to mention. There is an extra unecessary <NOD in the save point's script. You might wanna fix that.

I like the Sparkles. They replace the Snake and Fireball, right?

"Sword" is a synonym for "blade".

I strongly suggest that you get a better grip on tsc and level design before you delve in to assembly. If you really want to jump into it now, then ok... I just don't recommend doing it so soon.
