CS Comic Challenge

This is just sort of a little friendly challenge GIR and I are proposing. The premise is, you submit a one-off Cave Story themed comic and then once the deadline has elapsed the best is chosen by an impartial jury of peers (the users) and the winner gets, uhh, e-hugs or something.

The idea behind this is just to have some good fun and share your creativity

edit: ALSO, I decided that you are more than welcome to submit but opt out from judging. I still want to see it.

It sounds like fun! I usually have a slightly harder time drawing when the subject is chosen for me, but I'll give it a shot. The main conflict is that the deadline is the exact same day as my Chemistry AP exam (meaning huge, evil test that people have to study tons and tons for). I'll still try my best to find some time between now and then, though!

 

The deadline was just arbitrarily chosen, we could make a little bit of wiggle room if needed.

 

I'mma make a comic for you. If drawing ability is a big factor then I don't expect to win, but maybe I can pull through in... uh... adorability.

I don't think you should be held back by your drawing ability. Case in point: TNIC.
I was thinking, perhaps if there was enough submissions to justify we could have subcategories such as "Best idea/joke" or whatever else somebody can think of and wants to vote on.

Could I be one? I don't (or at least I don't think I do) hold a bias over anyone at the forums. If not, that's fine too. (I also can't draw for my life so I don't think I should enter the contest directly, but I like fan-art)
