And, I believe Jethawk95 mentioned the idea for the nexy map being a church. I'd be willing to do another tile set, but does anyone remember how to increase the max size of the sheet? After it gets to a certain size Cave Editor will begin to recycle tiles from the top.

After listening to it a few times, I realized it sounded a little familiar.

Alright, for starters, suppose the zombies are created by a mutated strain of rabies? That should be pretty realistic, being that it's one of the most likely ways for an actual zombie outbreak!! to occur.

That means no rising from the dead, but I think we should be able to justify most other things.
Also, since we're focusing on mimigas, I think horrifying super-rabies would make sense.

EDIT: Better yet, a parasite. Irl, they've been known to control their hosts (rats) to get themselves eaten.

Actually, what if we went the route of not even giving a justification as to why there are zombies? We could leave it up to the player to make their own interpretation of the cause, instead focusing on the premise of "OH GOODNESS THERE ARE ROTTING CORPSE THINGS TRYING TO EAT US WHAT DO WE DO." Parasite/virus/magic/divine force/voodoo are common causes, and unless we can pull off something novel and original, why rehash out the same old same old? Or, we could just keep it brief, possibly even just keeping it at vague hints dropped here and there on the side to explain the cause.

Anyone here seen Inception? I actually like how they don't go too in-detail on how the "hook you up to a box with a yellow button so we can sync dreams" machine works, other than you need to be sedated. Any more than that was extraneous detail. The dream mechanics were explained thoroughly, but those were vital to the plot.

This just raised a thought. Should the zombies be a world wide epidemic, or an event that government/military forces are trying to keep quite? A strain of rabies would make it an epidemic. Also, do you want to throw in anything related to weapons projects? Cause that was the plot to Nazi Zombies.

Rabies would not work because then those who die wouldn't join the evil army. Think about the other things like the mystery box and such. When writing I recomend trying to solve all the lttle questions first, then combining them to see what forms.

EX: The mystery box was made by a carpenter out of a tree cut from a grave yard, the weaponry laying around is from a militia force, and the soldier zombies are wearing armor that looks like it comes from a military with poor funding.
Therefore, a small city has attempted to fight off a large force for years and finally resorts to using aclchemy to turn there fallen against them, things got out of hand, and the box was made as one of their tests.

Now guys i cant make a radio log until the next level is announced so ill just tell you Seth's back story little by little as i go along.

So seth is a 27 year old mimiga. He was the boyfriend and soon to be husband of samantha. He was a part timer in other words he just grabbed any part time job he saw. He was at the age of 24 the marine captain of an assault team who retired after seeing his whole team killed in action and met samantha at the age of 25. He doesnt have any friends as they were all a part of his assault team wich was killed.

So theres a bit. I still have alot of other ideas but im going little by little so i dont make anything too cliche or lackluster. Tell me what you think and if necessary ill change it.

Sounds pretty good so far.
So would Samantha become a zombimiga or something? That would be interesting for a near-endgame boss, or something. (You know, if we include a story mode.)

Oh, oh!

What if the player has to kill Samantha on one of the maps (as a boss or something) and then Seth gets pissed at the player? That would be EPIC. (Especially with some epic final boss music. :cool:)

I think were on a roll.

but i dont think that would work too well because

She's already zombified if you end up killing her i dont think it would make so much sense if THEN he got pissed because its like getting pissed off at a guy not for killing you're girlfriend but shooting her when shes dead. Or are you suggesting you accidentaly end up killing her in that case then that would be pretty great
