Originally I was going to keep the shading on one side of the napalm canister (i.e. ALWAYS on the bottom left for each can), but it didn't emphasize the spin enough.

Wow. Those are nice. Do you think adding a little cross to the holy water would add more emphasis to the fact that it's holy water? Otherwise for the player it might just look wierd.

I've only played like 5 minutes of the game. Didn't know the holy water in Castlevania had a cross on it. Although thinking about it, it does make sense.

At least for Castlevania I and III for the NES, the ones you actually throw are really tiny and don't show the cross. However, the ones you find laying around (that you pick up to set holy water as your subweapon) do have a cross as the stopper. Though, I was just saying that in general that the function idea is directly ripped from Castlevania.

Edit: Goddamn now I have to draw a Mimiga Belmont for kicks and giggles.

Imteresting fact, even if a special element or virus were to make zombies, all the creatures that eat dead things would take care of them. Some guy did his research and wrote a book about it.

Also, we need to name our enemies. Normal zombies can be called... zombies. Better example, the zombie mushrooms can be called undead fungi. Or if someone made monsters with the skeletons from sandzone we can call them Lurkers. Something like that. Lets stay occupied.

I used to carry around the Zombie Survival Guide with me wherever I went. I need to start doing that again. You never know.

I posit Zombimiga as a name for general zombies. What do you think her name should be? (I need to make a forward dash animation for her, only have idle, attack, jump and death)

Well it could be called simply a Spawn. Although thats probably not the coolest thing it could be called.

How about Beldam? It's archaic English for an ugly/scary old woman, usually associated with evil hags. *I didn't just use a thesaurus and Google to find a word what are you talking about*

Beldam sounds cool to me.
Another cool thing we should work on is changing the text in CS to something more scary.
I'm sure there was a way you could do that..
You'd have to pack the font with the game though.

That should be easy to do, Jetty.

Also, it would only be a hop, skip, and a jump from a bat spawner in Last Cave a togglable zombie spawning entity, just needs an on/off function, maybe a spawn rate (WAI units between next spawn).

Messing with <ANP is a bad idea, in fact, noxid already has such a modified spawner created, I'm sure he could give you some insight.

Here is the arms sheet since positioning things correctly on the sheet is a bit of a bitch. Crap, all the stuff I've drawn before will need to be realigned at some point...

Edit: Also took that campfire Pixel drew and edited out the wood, for use with the holywater.

Looks awesome. Also I need something to do besides learn ASM. Because I don't see myself getting good enough at it very soon to help much in that regard.

I like the design. When I get back, would you mind if I recolored the gun? I gotta add more rustic detail. I'll probably do that with everything I can.

Go for it. I was kinda struggling with what color selection would fit best, so I just selected faded blue arbitrarily. YEAH I'M A GOOD DESIGNER THAT'S RIGHT

My new org is sounding pretty awesome. Not exactly a guns-a-blazing piece, but it sure sounds epic (I think). I'll post it if you guys wanna hear it.
