• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

I still have other mods to work on, and songs as well.
I'll see what I can do, though.

2 Similiar level designs

Unfortanately I cannot test these levels as I am having Cave Editor issues :(
But I think it would be best for HyMyNameIsMatt to place the objects where he wants em anyway..

p127182-0-nw9md.png
Okay so first up is the first initial design based upon HyMyNameIsMatt's design..
It seems to have cut the right side off xD Theres just a garden there anyway

ANd the Second desing, Which is more advanced
p127182-1-p5zix.png
There is a helicpoter on that piece of land to the left, We should maybe change it to an army truck or something? THought it'd look cool.
SO yeah, One main house, A shack to the left and a garden further on.
The main house's roof is accessible.

But as said before I cannot test these yet :(

EDIT: About your ORG Ollie, Its great and all but am I just dont think it would fit the gameplay.. Its too happy... I think the game needs atmospherically music...

Olliue, heh.

It's too happy? Hm. I dunno. This is what I wanted to know, anyhow, if it would match at all. I'll wait and see what others have to say, as well.

Uh... Mediafire doesn't work mobile. The page has too much crap in it for my phone to load it.

It was 4shared, right?

Hm... it's good but...
it doesn't quite fit the mood. Sounds like something that would make cool conversational music for your mod though...

Really?

Back to the drawing board, I guess.
Oh, and maybe that's a good idea.

Re: Community Project: Diety Project

Sure, I'd love to hear it.

And, anything I can help with? I sprite, I do TSC, I make (some) maps, and I'm willing to learn ASM, if the need arises.

Re: Community Project: Diety Project

I'll post it later tonight.
And it might be helpful to have another ASMer on board. I'm sure it's not absolutely vital, though.

I suggest using carrotlord's guide, it's incredibly helpful.

Re: Community Project: Diety Project

I'll be lurking, just not working. I'll check in on the thread every now and again just for quick updates on how things are going, I just can't spend much time spriting today. Same might be for tomorrow, though between the two I might be able to squeeze one or to things in.

As a side note, I'll have to make some of the reverse versions (i.e. looking the other way) of some of the zombies I made. I'll get to that... eventually.

Edit regarding the maps: Not bad, but the buildings seem a little tall. Remember that we're going to try lowering the jump height by one block.

Re: Community Project: Diety Project

I've been going through carrotlord's guide, and I'm stuck on the firecracker lesson. I can't find the "copy to executable" option. Anywhere. I'm using the same version of ollydbg as the guide reccomends... The button just won't show up. I looked up the problem online, and it says certain programs have that problem. I reinstalled CS, but the new one has the same problem. What should I do?

EDIT: I'm running all this on linux, in WINE. That might be the problem, lol.

Right click red part > edit > copy to executable?

EDIT: Alright, here's the mp3.
It seems like it's missing something....It could have better instruments.
