Why an Ikachan cursor? If it's Chie (t3h loli)'s Laboratory, shouldn't it be Chie as the cursor?

Because I like the Ikachan cursor and a Chie cursor would be probably lame, also the Ikachan cursor does actually really look like an arrow, a Chie cursor probably wouldn't.

Also the Ikachan cursor is in the Doukutsu.exe so it's somewhat original :)

What are those numbers at the top left corner?

Debug numbers.

Framerate

View X position in blocks | Mouse X position in blocks
View Y position in blocks | Mouse Y position in blocks

Whatever floats your boat.

Why Chie's Laboratory anyway? Sue has a workshop, the caves share an editor, Misery can create basic mods and like, now Chie has a laboratory? lol. Reminds me of Dexter's Laboratory.

Ooh, I see.

Impossible, because I don't write it with a language like C++

My language has only one compiler.
What language are you using?

Why Sue's Workshop?
Well I like Sue most, but she is already taken, so I took Chie, mostly because she became something like my trademark, mainly because of the avatar. Look in the movie script credits, people make jokes about this. :)

Plus the laboratory thing was created by a random joke done by me a long, loong, very loooooong time ago.

A basic dialect named GLBasic. It costs money by the way.
And as I already told you people, I can make mac support :p

I wonder if it'd be possible/feasible to make a TSC sort of debugger/IDE kind of thing... you know, make sure your commands have the right number of parameters, reminds you if you've made a number three digits instead of four, highlights commands so typoes stand out... reminds you of your <END's...

A debugger would be very, very hard, a syntax check comparatively easy (but still probably hard).

It would also be nice to have a) an editor for the profile.dat and b) a utility to convert an already created mod from Windows to Mac or vice versa.

$0A6BCB - "Studio Pixel presents" text
$0A75A0 - List of ORG names as used by the eboot

Yeah I have nothing yet. *sigh*

I have found a number of paths to various files if you want those.

I have found some information relating to the pbm files.

Org files appear to be external (data.csz), so are sound effects.

The (C)Pixel text is absent, it has been removed by the looks.
%s in a path means the root of the cave story folder.

How the heck did you find the starting health stuff in the first place? 03 00 is very common last time I checked.

It's easy if you got the "startup info" offset.

I have a better chance of finding the health offsets than finding the startup info offset unless you know something I don't. :( :D

Hey! I use Mac! It's much better than Windows!

I would be willing to be a tester.

Be careful with saying that, there are more people using the Mac or Linux, than you might think.

For example Cookie or Tadashi.
