People, check out Konjak.org . It's the site of a solo indie game dev (like Pixel!) who, among other things, has made the game Chalk, which is Good.
Try it, and the Noitu Love 2 demo while you're at it.

In other news I finally got around to playing Within a Deep Forest

Started today and beat it... Pretty cool game. Not too hard, pretty neat tunes. Definitely slightly different than any game I've played in a long time. I was disappointed at the nearly non-existent/non-interactive plot ;p but just seeing the sights, passing the challenges, and exploring was fun~
Did I mention I liked the music??? Great mood songs. Music was not particularly dominating, or very memorible, but fit the quiet mood well.

I played on normal... I wonder how hard Hard mode is...
My favorite level was the crazy neon 1 dimensional area, after the red flower place... That place rocks for no reason [actually there are plenty] lol
Second favorite place was the place you got the final Ball... Besides that ball rocking the world, the area was peaceful and closest to a real plot area. Plus how you arrived there was very cool. I really feel the game could be expanded upon to become a full blown 5 star game... But as it is; a great puzzle game.

Some favorite songs : Adventures, Under And Above, The Legend of Ilune, underwater lab tune, scales of zordium, diamond meditation [look in the music folder to listen]

Seriously though, the last ball looks classic.

i loved this game too, but it was weird at times
yeah the fly ball is awesome ^^ i bet this game too, if you like this you will like knutt stories (and people made mods of knutt stories so you can be occupied for hours)

I think I could have done a lot better, but it seemed good at the time... [Also I edited the song from 4 + mins long? to 1:30 something]

I should do a lot more to get better at these...
EDIT: Originally I wanted to release Xenosaga in episode format, since it was so much like a DVD. Complete with intro and endings [this would have been like a trailer for the first episode or something] But, since I couldn't figure out a way to include all the important dialog that happens between cutscenes, not to mention how the battles and wandering is important; I gave up on it.
