Maybe we should at least mention Cave Story, so that we have a reason to be here.
For instance, is there an actual reason for Chaco being violet, or was Pixel just being a raging furry and wanted a purple Mimiga that you could bone?

Perhaps so there was absolutely no debate as to her gender, so nobody was like OH WELL HE COULD BE A FEMALE IMPERSINATOR and shish.

Plus everyone likes purple.

 

Purple can totally be manly. I didn't even figure out that Chaco is female until I got the lipstick... and even then I had doubts. However, purple is definitely a sexier color than white. Because Pixel is a raging furry.
