for anyone who can visit california and los angeles
where nicalis is there offering arcade and other stuff

i talked to a worker from nicalis he played the beta
he said he also want it to be released but nicalis want to find the way to do it

I've never played Fantasy Zone so there might be a specific joke that's going over my head lol.
Also, is it just me or do the collisions with Ballos himself in that video look a bit different than how they'd function in the final game, I know his eyes are usually pretty safe resting spots but it looks like Quote went way further in than usual relative to the sprite.

I can't believe it, Pixel made mods of his own game

Now I wonder if this was an idea for the Halloween overhaul, considering the amount of licensed characters the Cave Story cast were dressed up as.

 

Wow, how did I manage to miss us getting a release of like 10 beta versions earlier this year? That's so cool!
(Also the source code leak, but honestly that's not even that useful or cool when we have two very good engine rewrites)
