Yeah, Jenka's Nightmare is alright, I suppose, but there were quite a few errors, and so I eventually just stopped playing it.... I've always wanted to know, and I don't know if this has been asked before, but is it possible to defeat Monster X in that?

Dude, does he like, stretch so far apart that pieces of him start dismantling when you leave him after a while?

The whole thing rides to the end of the corridor as long as you stay on his side.

Spur pieces? You mean the shots? They should be in the Bullet and Caret files in the data folder. (Yes both, at least I think so)

No, actually, I heard there were "pieces" of it that you could collect, but since shmitz didn't finish it, it was impossible to get the spur. Might be wrong though.
EDIT: A HAHA! The Spur lives!!

Jenka's Nightmare - After the Sandzone?

Hey, Noob to the forums here. I read a bunch of other Jenka's Nightmare threads but none seemed to get me unstuck.

I also find it a bit irritating that no one has ever made a walk through for it. I'm actually planning on making a walk-through of it myself since it's never been done before.

But, of course for me to make a walk-through I would to have completed the game (or to the point where the moder just seemed to get bored with it and halted).

But, Im pretty much stuck after the dog-puzzle. I went into Red-Flower, got to that save point, got the heart thingy in the wall....then Im stuck. I read the computer and the bookcases, went back to the Sandzone and went in every possible direction (Now that I have the boost 1.0) now im stuck wondering around with a total of 14 hp, cant activate the teleporter in the room 'Red Flowers' led to and Im stuck. D:

TL;DR - What did I miss?
(oh and just for the record, I plan to make the walk-through for it on the second run thru the game. You guys can probably correct me when I make it, since I only have the original cavestory game down-pact in my mind. xD)

I may write a walkthrough once there's a bug-free, final version.

Most games never really reach "bug free" but uh, a walkthrough would probably be a good idea.

Given the fact that this mod has been dead for years and its creator gone for years this is about as bug-free final version as it is going to get.

Given that it is made by a different person with different ideas, no, that is not the closest to the final version.

So does that mean it's further from the final version than the version here?

"Yes" is the response I'm expecting, and an opinion I would probably agree with.

Well, personally, while I salute LunarSoul for his work on finishing JN, I doubt that his work is what Shmitz envisioned. But, unless Shmitz were to suddenly return we'll never know for sure.
