I'd say I'm alright at drawing but it depends on what kind of style you want.

I like your drawings. If you don't have Flash, then you can send whatever you draw to me and I'll trace over it in Flash. We'll talk further in the CSFP group.

 

Yeah I don't have flash.
What I'll do is make a few hand-drawn cave story gifs.
I'll try make them as action packed? as possible.

I'll have to make it in the style of the speed painter thing cause that's the most efficient way to animate for me.

When I've done a few I'll post them here.

 

How come you can only draw in 256 animated colors? Do you have something against jpegs?

 

Well it's just that Gif's can only have 256 colours.
But I just relised that it'll be a bit more difficult than I thought.
When I first gave it a go, I couldn't cover up background details with the moving characters. It'll be quite difficult to hand-draw cave story, with face movements and everything.

I think you'd be better off using flash than hand-drawn animation. I think I might keep thinking about whether I be a part of it or not.

 

Flash is hand-drawn... if you have a tablet, like me.
And I think that cerealkiller will be doing people. If you have trouble drawing scenery, monsters or other non-human things then I guess it would be hard for you.

 

You don't really HAVE to hand-drawn in flash, y'know, if you use a mouse, gradient/fill, and just tween... But that looks pretty bad.
