I guess I'll start.

I feel comfortable with my drawing abilities so I would like to be an artist and possibly an animator.
I would be up for voice acting, but I'm not sure what role I'd be.

Edit: I think I could help out with scripting and whatnot.

 

Skills: I'm somewhat good at writing and have a thick Slavic accent.
Position: I'm fine with voice-acting Dr. Fuyuhiko Date.

 

Animator, voice actor, could be helpful with art.

I'm gone for two weeks starting tomorrow, so no, we aren't in a big rush. It would be cool to get original music, but I was thinking of using various Cave Story remixes, like from the Remix Project. Of course, I'm not in charge of the project. It was just an idea of mine, so we'll see what cerealkiller says.

I guess I could pitch in with Animooting or Voicing, though not particularly good with either XD So I guess I'm just an extra or something.

I would like to keep the original music, but possibly remix it ourselves because I don't like a lot of the remixes on the Remix Project.
Any original music would be difficult and would stray too far from the feel of the game.

Edit: Just revised the Remix Project and I take that back - I like all of the songs except for Almost There and the fact that Cave Story (the song) will not work very well for the plantation

 

Okay, well, if we're remixing it ourselves then that could be a job for Cheese.
Also, you might want to check out Welcome Home. I know not many of the Remix songs are good, but I think this one is epic, and we could almost certainly find a place for it.

if you ask me it sounds good for credits, advertisement (which im sure is not happening), or title.

 

I don't think we're going to have any rape scenes, Jacob. I don't know how much you'd like writing for something like that.
Also "Welcome Home" can be used in so many other places.

I am currently overseeing this project and I can remove you from it as easily as you came in. There will be no rape scenes, end of story. Even if it was a joke, you obviously don't know where to stop.

There are several problems that should be adressed ASAP. First, No funny/Some funny/All funny? I say the second option. Why? Well, as this is a serious project, it shouldn't be completely silly, but there is no reason why we shouldn't crack a joke or two occasionally. Feel free to post your opinion.
Second, there are far more characters in the game than we'll be able to find voice actors. This goes double for the females. We should probably only cast for primary characters, and some of the actors would voice some of the secondary characters as well. (In the second Futurama movie, Billy west voices twelve characters, five of them regulars.) So, if you can maintain multiple voices, let us know.
And third... uh, that's more like a suggestion than a real problem, but in your first post, could you include who voices who, cerealkiller54? Or maybe include a list of characters with their respective voice actors. Thanks.

1 - I agree with you there. In the story there are multiple places where jokes are made.
2 - Multiple characters per voice actor sounds fine
3 - Sure, but I don't want to make any positions permanent just yet. I feel auditions of some sort are in order.

It's completely retarded that we're aiming to make all of Cave Story into a flash animation. It's just plain assinine. Completely stupid!
