I was going to post my sprited art of Quote doing the Tim Allen face, but it looks so unbelievably cursed that it could be classified as a cognitohazard and i hate it, so only these portrait edits i did for fun, for now

 

Cave Story, but epic. Seriously tho, please keep them up!

 

I could probably also do non-sprite artwork but i don't have anything other than a mouse since i don't have a drawing tablet since a few months ago when it randomly died.
Guess i'll just deal with lineart looking odd

I tried to make sprites that used smaller palettes than the ones in-game but tried to fit more of the details into the sprites.
Mostly just boils down to adjusting the scales and letting the perspective be inconsistent when it helps the overall form.
I took some liberties with the designs just to make them more visually distinct from one another.

I've been trying to cut down on my over-reliance on anti aliasing as of late because certain things just don't need it.

 

Doing this in microsoft paint made it 300% better
I know it sucks, thanks

The perspective is a bit odd but yeah, you make it work. I also like how you shift the hue for shade colours, really makes it pop!

I've loved all your art so far but this one takes the cake. The raw dynamism, the force and emotion it packs, this is truly impressionism at its finest. the fact that I can't completely tell what's going on makes it even better

Using a mouse to draw may not be the best option on Microsoft Paint... I think i should show some art i've made in the past.

A simple toroko drawing and this thing

That's a really nice drawing of Toroko, I love the way that the colors and shading blend together into a really rick texture of her fur.

For that island drawing, is that whole thing made from scratch, or did you incorporate some photograph of clouds with some outline of the island?

Thank you, about the the island thing, yes I did everything from scratch, originally I was going to use a photograph to compose the landscape but I didn't find one that fit what I wanted, so I made the clouds using a salt watercolor brush that creates this "cloud" aspect of the image, in addition to the effects that help to hide imperfections a little.

 

Okay gotcha. So I'll admit, the picture itself isn't anything too interesting to look at, but the faded water color effect is kinda cool, so not bad.
