Why thank you :3 I'm not good at estimating time with drawings but it didn't take me exactly 5 minutes to complete. I got the design done relatively quickly though. I guess I'm calling it a doodle because I didn't abandon it and kept coming back to it for weeks on end?

Oh, so it took a couple of weeks on and off of doing it? It looks like you did it all in one stroke.

After seeing some of the great artworks here, I feel devoted to put at least something on this topic. (For now, it's not the excellent stuff)
I got bored and drew this while waiting for a friend to reply. Then after talking for about an hour, I spent a quick 10 minutes putting something else to fill the page up. I had a lot of fun drawing these. (I ran out of space drawing the Fireball, fail on my part)
I tried not to use the Cave Story 3D's website when drawing these, so if they look somewhat like it, I blame that. Honestly, I think the Blade turned out the nicest out of all of them.

Blade is the nicest one on that page, I think you are right about that. Also, for some reason, I have no recollection of what the fireball looks like.

When I get around to it, I have to draw King holding the blade. (Didn't want to draw King on that sheet since I made an awesome Blade and I drew it way too high on my sheet of paper.)

i'm not sure if this is completely Cave Story FanArt (since Ryuuoutan's from some other game it seems..) but... I really like how it turned out. honestly I could've done much better if I had used SAI but since I hardly ever use Paint.NET, I decided that I would use that instead. enjoy~~ oh, and this is my very first drawing of King.

Not bad ryuu. if you use PDN again I recommend setting the anti-aliasing off (it's one of the little buttons by the brush size) when you do the lines. That way you won't get those odd white pixels when you fill the colours in.

He means anthros in general. This is considered a subcagetory of furry called "scalie", but can also be called furry or anthro anyway. Unless you're making a joke and I'm taking this way too seriously
