Oh yeah, I got a challenge, not really a Boss fight though.

Easy enough. First time I tried it I didn't get hit at all. But the video was all screwed up. :x

Let's see.. how to make it truly 40x as fun...

I noticed all those bats are just flying around way up there. What happens if you build a platform up where all the enemies are, so you have to fight where they spawn?
Meaning you have to fight the bats and other creatures while not having tons of space to fly, run around and fight in...

Also I think full freedom of movement is a key to making it fun
To make it difficult I'd say... instead of falling blocks of retarded...
It would be pretty amazing to have to fight the Undead Core in the same path as the bats, while dealing with Ballos.
....
So... if the bats are directly overhead, and only a few actually will hit you if you just walk on the ground. Undead Core sends little cores towards you to push you towards death spikes on the left side, while blocking your shots...
[actually just an undead core fight, while only fighting in a small tunnel, so you have to keep jumping in between the platforms would be ridiculous... You might have to put a few openings in the wall to jump in or fall through to hide from the big lasers, if you can't dodge them in a small tunnel; or force yourself to take hits from them lol]

Then with Misery and Sue [can't just have Misery can we?] (oh and toss in a multi-battle Balrog if you want it to be a psycho fight)

That would be pretty crazy, still I think maybe there's a way to make it better and less ridiculous then even this idea... lol

Heh : X When I was going for my healing pot I wanted to hit the block instead to delay how long I could go without it (I had 11 HP, blocks do 10, spinning ballos eyes do 14), then I realized I wouldn't be able to cause sloow movement >_>.

 

i tried the mod.... how can you beat it? the currents too strong so you can barely move

If all else fails, use the BOOSTER!

 

The booster can't even come close to how strong it pushes you

Really great job on completing this challenge! I'm still struggling with it myself, but that's probably because I have a habit of using only the Spur on the 2nd form's eyes. Maybe I'll give the Super Missiles a try like you did in your video. Anyways, congratulations again, Chaddykins.

Same here for my first 5 or more attempts... I at least had to try and get to the 2nd form before I would take that snapshot I posted earlier.

Yeah I take a while to kill the balcony one even with the level 2 blade, so I can only imagine how long it'd take to kill it with level 1 polar star. <_<

lvl.1 Bubbler is worse than the lvl.3 nemmy, the nemmy fires more rapidly therefore causing more damage.

Actually, apart from the duck vs. bullet thing and the speed at which the projectiles fire, a level 1 Polar Star is virtually identicle to a level 3 Nemmy duck.
