Pardon me for asking, I'm sure that somewhere something like this exists, but is there any tutorial for how to use this? I'm trying to edit cave story, and I can figure out how to place tiles and enemies, but is there any way to:
Delete cutscenes
Make cutscenes
Change door destinations and
Insert my own music made in orgmaker?
I'm sorry if this question is redundant, but I'm really quite new to editing games.

I was actually thinking about making a guide to Booster's Lab, But I wanted to make it the same way carrotlord and BombchuLink did it(html document?). Frick, uh, how do I make a html document?

you can write html with any text editor in fact. I'd recommend picking up the basics at http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp and then checking some of the files in the Booster's Lab "help" folder. If you make a guide that's good I'll include it in the editor.

Uh, is the notepad a text editor?
If not I guess I could just search one up.

Fuck yeah it's better than CE's! Love it, this is really, really, really useful when I'm working with 100 facepics and trying to animate them.
It's a welcome change, and about time. Thanks a lot. =)

Hacks? Infinite Booster Fuel. But for some reason it only gives me once boost trail and one boost sound and then it just looks like I'm some creepy floaty wizard.

P.S. The song called ["White"] is actually called White Stone Wall.

So what exactly is this "tsc argument decoder" that everyone was apparently bitching about?
And what does it do?

in the TSC editor it shows you information on the arguments of commands you write (facepics, map names, sfx etc)

Ooooooooooh! Nice.

Will there be a latest version of the EXE wrapper available to download too?

Er, I don't think I need it, but- you know

Oh! while i'm here, I almost forgot, could you add this MIM hack to the hachinator?
This version I have optimizes the <END command, and puts the MIM hack in the extra space.

credits to BombchuLink for the hack.

EDIT: Could you actually not put it in? I want to have a section in the guide i'm making on how to use the hex patcher, and have the person try to Put in this hack to see if they can use it correctly.

Other people are free to use this version of the hack if they want.

Hi.. I have a couple questions about this program...sorry if they're repeats of what somebody else asked but I'm not going to go digging through 28 pages of posts to fuind out.... 1) Can you resize maps in this? 2) Why do tile properties get messed up when switching between this program and Cave Editor? 3) When I load CS in this program and it changes all the images to .bmp, they come out lossy for some reason. I'd much prefer to use png... Is there a way to get around this?

Thank you.. Hopefully I'm not annoying you..

I could answer for two of them.
1. You can, by right-clicking on the map and you should see "Resize Map" in the drop-down menu.
3. CS can only read bitmap files.

1) right-click the map in tile editing mode
2) they shouldn't in general but cave editor has some bugs in how it handles map data
3) it doesn't even touch the images, all it does is rename the file extension. Using PNG is impossible. Your problem is that you're probably trying to edit a 256-colour bitmap with MS paint which always assigns the default palette, and it's ugly. Try using Paint.NET or some other more robust editing software.

well in that case I haven't got a clue what it might be doing because photoshop is a monolithic nightmare.
