Your cracked eye in the facepics have a shadow, whereas the normal ones have no shadow.

So it distinctly looks like something is lodged in there.

EDIT: It also has a larger shape, so it looks nothing like what it originally was.

Oh... I forgot to get rid of that... I feel so stupid. I'll fix it soon. I need to focus on getting some levels done, not any more art. I also changed the executable's icon. It has the new Bracket, along with Comma. I thought it looked nice.

Also the sprite's cracked eye is a weird shade compared to the facepic. I'd recommend trying to make them the same.

Sure, I'll have to change the sprites color instead, though. I thought it was to bright. I'm also thinking of having a hint system, in which you have an item that will give you hints to guide you in the right direction. I thought of this because of the fact that many people aren't getting to the demo's ending, because they don't know what to do. So, should I add in the hint system?

Eh, perhaps.

But don't give too much away, and perhaps have a negative impact after using a hint - To stop abuse of the system.

Maybe something dumb like it only runs using the same oil Quorte or whoever the main character is runs on, and so he has to damage himself every time he uses a hint or something.

His name is Bracket, just to clarify. I guess that would be hard to implement. I might not implement it, unless I can implement the money experience hack. Then you would have to grind to get the hint, therefore promoting you to not use it unless you need to. I could make it to where you could buy more health if you save up a ton, or add an arms barrier to buy stuff. Or it could just reset your weapons to level one, which could be bothersome. Maybe even have a mini boss you have to defeat in order to gain the hint. Tell me which idea I could use.

The miniboss sounds like too much fun. Resetting your weapons sounds like a bitch, so I'd go with that.

I tried to be a bit more in key with Metriod and the backtracking, but some people just can't do that. Also, it adds a bit of challenge. It doesn't cause someone to rage, just makes you want to be more observant of your surroundings.
Edit: Why is <ZAM not registered as a command in Cave Editor? It's really confusing.

I only meant when you have to get back to the outer wall, the grasslands, stuff like that. It's only minor, like in Cave Story. I will drop it from now on, though. Also, I can't find any wind fortress map photo's. If anyone has one, could you please send it to me?

Sand Zone backtracking was literally the worst part of Cave Story
Egg Corridor? was pretty cool, but that's because it was actually different after you revisited it.

Actually Nameless, I was referring to the bit of Egg Corridor where you go back to Arthur's House. And I thought Sand Zone was pretty fun.
