I don't think you're at much liberty to pass that judgement with your history of understanding sarcasm

 

Trying new things is usually good for you, Callerloppy. If you just don't even want to try, there's really nothing any of us can say to convince you otherwise, but it wouldn't do you any harm to try Booster's Lab and Cave Editor out with a fresh copy of Cave Story, would it? If you sincerely dislike them because they're too fancy, maybe looking through their buttons and trying everything out might give some insight, and your modding experience will be all the better for it.

(At any rate, at least you're not using Miza. Because my god...)

I know, but those were included with a later version. I have the older Cave Story Deluxe on the family dinosaur computer and used Sue's Workshop at the time because I didn't know there were newer editors yet.
