Happy birthday Noxid (even if I'm a bit late)! And very funny, GIR.
Mermaid tail!
There was a group of girls who greatly admired my work on Isengard, and when they saw me coming out onto the beach the next morning, they asked what I had in store that day. I told them I wasn't sure, and was just going to make a wall. Then one of them suggested that I make a mermaid tail. So I took up this suggestion. I started by making a mound of sand in the shape of one, then once I finished, I went to the larger end and started to dig sand out from it to make a tunnel for you to stick your legs into. The deeper I got, the harder it got to keep getting sand out. I didn't want to stick my head in the hole, because
lord only knows what could happen. In the second picture, you can see a ditch off to the side. That's where I dug all the sand for it, and the wall around the mermaid tail is the sand that used to be inside of the sand construction until I hallowed it out. My brother and sister carved the scales as I was digging the hole into the tail. Eventually I got the tunnel to go far enough that people were telling me it was deep enough, so I collected the tools, brought them back to the beach house, and upon returning saw the group of girls each taking pictures of themselves in the mermaid tail. Then much to my dismay, my sister stuck the upper half of her body in it. Thankfully though, she got herself out without any problems, aside from kind of scraping herself. As the tide came in, the hole started filling up with water (I expected that to happen), as you can see in the last picture.
