Click~MISATO IS OWNZ! lol I really enjoyed the whole Kenshin series, TV and OVAs... it was great to see Kenshin from a kid all the way to Kenshin ... the end. It gave plenty of time to really get attached to the characters. And Kenshin has style... [but still Misato is the winner]
I never watched Full Metal Alchemist...
@xristosx - SUBS! I guess the reason I always choose subs relates to one of the reasons I really stuck with anime... A girl I knew as Sal9000 back around 2000 which I met playing the game of Tribes, taught me to love the Japanese language. I blame her for brainwashing me to crazily fall for all things Japanese ;p
These days I know more random Japanese music than I do popular english music and artists... lol

FullMetal's characterisation is as close to perfect as it gets IMO. While Rurouni gets you into the story more, the value of FMA is based almost completely on the story and characters (although even the other aspects are pretty good). Edward Elric is my favourite anime character.

Soul Society sucked balls.
The only nice part was Ichigo VS Zaraki, Ichigo VS Renji and Ichigo VS Byakuya.
The other parts were made of fail, I mean, come on, Komamura and Tousen both lost to Zaraki, Zaraki is awesome, and Tousen is probably stronger than the first espada, meaning Zaraki should be able to defeat the first espada with ease, but he already has trouble with the 5th espada.
And that gay guy with Ikkaku? Seriously, he is so fucking lame, Ganju too, only knows how to sit on balls, in balls and blow balls up.
