The red shard is a secret, it's not supposed to show up in your inventory. You might figure it out if you're clever, lucky, cunning, and play the next demo. I can say that sold here has one hell of an overarching plot going on here.

Your title says that it's up to version 0.0.8, but the latest I could find on this thread was, 0.0.2, but the feedback does not seem to imply there's content I missed, and it sounds like it's mostly Dunc who's getting the inside scoop on all your PROGRESS, so maybe I got the latest public version. I've played the demo in the OP and read this thread now, so let's hope I'm all up to speed.

- You could have had a little sound effect or something for the stabbing of the little boy, considering it's such a big deal

Well uh if you want to make a stabbing sound effect for me go ahead because I haven't been able to figure it out

you could also make his dead sprite look a little more collapsed lying on the floor, unless you want some sort of weird Japanese death that keeps people supporting themselves on their knees while dead.

I...guess so, although I don't really see it as much of an issue.

I love this game and I hope you don't abandon it like EVERY OTHER MOD IN THE WORLD. can help you do some things just to make sure this does not happen. This game is awesome.

 

I finnaly played this using the power of Wine. And besides it just being a couple of cutscenes and some exploration I REALLY like the mysteriousness of it.
I encourage you to continue this with all your powers of PROGRESS.

I have to admit, you guys did a wonderful job of cleaning up for the public release. Of course there's still the few extra maps,dialogue, and weapons (whoops did I just mention that?). Anyway, I'll stop snooping for now...till next version.

P.S. Good demo but SERIOUSLY needs some progress or another beta.

I know what you mean, when I work on mods Im usually okay doing the modding, but the art is redundant (at least re-drawing left and right movement). I'd be really great at procrastinating if I ever got around to it.

Doors this is fantastic. Your art looks really nice on that, uh, bodypic(?) and so the cutscenes will really pop out more. I remember the gray-looking anime dude appearing more like a scrawny nerd who was fun to threaten and junk, but now he looks more serious and intimidating whoa. Good luck with the rest and please don't abandon it.

 

And I would have expected S2HD to resurrect before this...
