I learned about Cave Story from someone in a small IRC channel I had, back in summer of '06 or so. I got it but didn't really play it much, but the next summer I remembered it and checked it out and found myself pretty hooked. :D I didn't get into the forums and some editing though until...

All this and nobody has asked about how the Snake can shoot through solid rock walls? ;)

Hmm, well I haven't really counted how many times exactly. :p I'm sure I did the bad ending once or twice for the hell of it, the regular ending a few times, and the super hard really good ending even more times. :D

On the topic of Cave Story's limits, is there a large list of limits somewhere? I remember you hitting the script size limit yourself. :p

Because Cave Story doesn't use Havok. ;P

ICK. I meant to vote Snake but accidentally voted Fireball. So yeah, Snake is my favorite with the blade and spur closely behind it. :D

The physics seem very accurate to me, the only really big problem I can see so far is that when you let go of a key in midair, Quote stops moving left/right and just falls down.

Fire can exist underwater. How do you think they have underwater metal cutters and welders?

Well now that you're found some limits of Cave Story it seems someone should note them down to prevent future issues...like these last minute fixes. :mad: And I can't wait for the demo! :p

Right now, 30 MB. I don't have a lot of CS related stuff installed besides the main game, editors, and a couple mods.

Another typo near the beginning when you get the sword, should be "dying". Despite the minor problems though this does seem pretty good so far, I look foward to more!

Get FRAPS. It captures any fullscreen game. Dunno how well it works with cave story though as I've never tried it.

Don't know if this has been suggested but does Cave Story have no color limit on an image? If so then would it be possible to add the ability to add/subtract more colors from the palette in the editor? That'd be pretty useful...
