How many times have you played through Cave Story from start to any of the 4* endings?

Personally, I've played through:

• Bad ending: 1 (third playthrough, was curious)
• Decent ending: 3 (kept failing the redbrick jump... XP)
• Redemtion ending: 40... ish? I spend nearly all night, every night since I found CS looking for glitches to exploit and trying ones I've found on the net.
• Special run: 3
  • Made it to the core on my first.
  • Made it to the final 3 on my second
  • Made it through hell on my last. Never again. My nerves gotted fried.

(*Special run: no saves, the end is when you die.)

Bad ending (Dragon flight): 4, I think
Normal ending: ~12
Ballos ending: 8725634756

Hmm, well I haven't really counted how many times exactly. I'm sure I did the bad ending once or twice for the hell of it, the regular ending a few times, and the super hard really good ending even more times.

Bad ending: Bloody hell wtf? Who would want to play through the whole game just to fly away and not give a damn about the crumbling sht piece of island!?
Good ending: Nah. once. lol. I like challenges. lol. =S.
Secret level!!!!: Erm... like 56 times lol. I LOVE IT! I LIKE BEATING BALLO'S BALLS OFF HIS BIG ROUND-ISH BODY!!!

Did that already, but it is so hard to focus on so many things at once. If I get past B2 then I can recover health in B3 because it is so easy, apart from Heavy Press which is even worse with focusing on multiple things at once than B2 is.

I find B3 the easiest. The Heavy Press isn't that hard.
All you need to do is stand a bit to the left side of where the lightning from it strikes. Then when you butes come, you jump and spam Nemesis. When they're dead, you jump over the rolling stuffs and land below the Heavy Press and spam Nemesis. Then when it blinks you repeat. You can survive with full health

the best way to do b2 is to keep boosting foward and fire lvl 1-2 charged spur shots backwards, unless there people in front of you lol, ill post a video if you need help ^^'

 

A tip: if you're not speedrunning, repeatedly enter B3, take the hearts bottom-right, exit, rinse, repeat.
