Whoa! Hey, a belated Christmas and Happy New Year to you too, sir Shane, Veteran Member of the Cave Story Tribute Forums! <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/grin2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
I feel warm and fuzzy thanks the image, and nice mapping btw~! Looks like sweet mapping skills D:

Are you working on a VX Ace project? I need to get working again...

I actually just got a new PC after 10 long years, and I've just been enjoying it and installing stuff... Going to take a little bit longer before I get back up and running!

I need to get Photoshop back up so I can answer such gifts ... Hope it will work with this PC D:
Lack of sleep is keeeling me!
If this is a stupid question, sorry, but I'm only asking it due to my computer's inability to play video files most of the time. About that post about Daniel Remar's latest project... Is it a strawberry exploring a large fortress or something like that?

Hey~ The game is still a long ways off, and he admits he cannot say if he will finish it, but it's the project he's currently working on.
From the video, the strawberry starts off in a peaceful town, as the sun comes up...
That's when strawberry guy comes up and meets up with a strawberry girl, and they start chatting and running around town; commenting on things like these poorly drawn trees xD They have some kind of errand to run, Strawberry has to meet up with the Plincess [some other kind of vegetable or fruit, I forget...]
At that point it shows Strawberry in various areas, exploring factories and solving puzzles, reading signs like : "Please use the stairs the correct way, don't just jump up them", and Strawberry proceeds to jump up them like a platformer would xD
There is a multiple choice dialogue, "Who are you??" (A spy) (A guard) (I don't know)...
And in Daniel Remar fashion everything is presented with style, like when it shows Strawberry facing off with a Eggplant king as their platforms shoot up into the sky, and a thunderbolt goes off in between them lol. Anyway, I'm a little wary about a game featuring vegetables and fruits, but if anyone can do it right, it's Remar!

    Oh.
If it was a fortress, then it would basically have been mentioned in Iji.
I recall one of the terminals there having an (unplayable) game with a strawberry exploring a large fortress, in Sector 6.

It would be funny if the fortress actually makes it in the game, though <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/grin2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
My age is no longer 109 :/ As I figured, soon as I updated my details I was unable to get it back.

Heyy! Sorry, didn't see your last message about the clock and how to continue editing <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/redface2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

To open a mod on RPGMaker...
    1) Goto Project tab in RPGMaker 2003 and choose Close Project
    2) Now go back to Project tab and Open Project

From here you need to find the project on your computer. If the project you want is not listed in Project List. Click the "..." for Project Path and go to where the game is.

Example, you downloaded Lizas Avengance Mod.zip, and you extracted it on your desktop. That means Project Path might be : "C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Desktop"
So when you hit OK, it should show the mod in the Project List. Choose that one, and it will open up!

    3) If you want to get back to your previous project, do the same thing; except you have to go where your project is...
    Like if it's in Program Files : C:\Program Files\rpg2003
Or in Documents : C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents

If you can't find it though... You can run a search for it :
    1) Go to Start Menu
    2) Search button
    3) All files and folders
    4) Type in RPG_RT.exe
    5) Hit Search

It should eventually show you where all your RPGmaker games are. Find the right one, and open it in RPGmaker 2003 editor.
Ex path : If it says C:\Pickleton\ The path you put in for RPGmaker 2003 would just be C:\

Once you figure it out once, it should be much easier!
    Hi! When you've got time please play this ^_^ <a href='http://www.mediafire.com/?94g78acnjd5mnc1' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'><a href="http://www.mediafire...94g78acnjd5mnc1" rel='nofollow external' class="su_links">http://www.mediafire...94g78acnjd5mnc1</a></a>
Hello there. I would just like to thank you for the feedback you gave me on <a href='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/index.php?/topic/3858-cave-story-with-a-fourth-ending/' class='bbc_url' title=''>my mod</a> which has helped it reach the final release! Your contribution of being one of three people to piont out how little sense it made for the Core to just "appear," at the black space has made my mod evern better. Thank you! It seems that you have not completed my mod yet, so it would still be appreciated if you cmopleted it. And if you have some improvements to make, then maybe I'll make an ACTUAL fian release. In any case, thanks for the feedback you've given!

I'll see if I can review it soon... I actually haven't played Cave Story or a mod since I last started to play your game! D:

Alright. By the way, make sure you download the latest version when you continue through it. Cause there have been numerous minor changes/bug fixes/typo fixes since the first version. As well as a cutscene which attempts to explain how the Core arrives at the Black Space even when you don't find it.

Whoops, meant to say "fight," at the end there, not "find,"
Say, X-Calibar, are you and the X-Calibar at the Crestfallen Studios forums one and the same?

One and the same! Although I haven't visited the Crestfallen forums lately...

Hmm, yeah. I was just over there because I just finished getting all the endings in "The Way." If only there were more mods for that game. I can see you were thinking about it at one time. I might, then again, I never got around to modding Cave Story...

(The forums don't notify me when I get a message on my profile... just noticed your post!)

Yeah I wanted to mod The Way. Upgrade the music, add to areas, etc...
It was a really enjoyable experience; and I wanted to add to it!

    However...
I think it's better to work in a team for projects like this. Working alone is fine,
but it gets lonely in this digital age, where something new is just around the corner <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/redface2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />
After all this time I still haven't finished any mods for Cave Story either ><

Makes me wonder though, how different everything would have been if I'd stuck to and finished one project at a time <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/redface2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />
Hi there. Sorry if you find this kinda a rude thing to say, but you seemed to be rather interested in my mod. From what I could tell, you haven't played through it all of the way. If you would be so kind as to spare some hours to play my mod the rest of the way through, and give me your feedback, then I would be greatful.
    Hello there,

I find it necessary to inform you right now that a bad glitch has been discovered in my mod. As I understand it, you've been playing it. It may be wise to upgrade to the newer version of my mod before progressing any further. If you have not yet teleported to the plantation, then no harm will have been done. Just simply transfer your save to the new version, and it will all be dandy. But if you've gotten there and past, it would be best to download this new version and dispose of any remaining saves from the previous version, because they will still allow the glitch to take place. I just thought it would be good to notify you so that your testing process will not be impeded on, and so that you can focus on criticizing what really needs to be criticized.
