Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Nature of the Demon Crown's curse
My thoughts... Maybe they must obey the crown up to an extent. Direct commands are effective (feed Sue flowers), but vague goals may leave room for some free will (being sent to the Labyrinth by Misery to continue pursing)... And maybe being defeated helps a little? The ole slap to the... -

What would happen if per say, the island fell before cave story?
If the island fell at the beginning of the game for some reason... Perhaps the island would be in a pretty bad state. Map of the floating island

Cave Story: Tweaked (NEW: Version 1.7!)
Loaded up fine for me, no longer seems to require the extra dlls, or boss mode files~ However still shows the fireball sprite after falling down in mimiga village near the start; instead of showing quote fallen down. (tested with original graphics). Also haven't noticed shuffle doing... -

Was able to get it running by putting SDL2.dll (v2.0.20) from another game, and copying over libgcc_s_seh-1.dll, libstdc++-6.dll, libwinpthread-1.dll from my mingw64 install (\msys64\ucrt64\bin). Can probably download them by searching their names on a trustworthy site. (Plus scan them to be...
