Oh, I'm just starting. Like, a couple days ago. I've done some scripting stuff before, but just a bit, so I understand the concept. I'm reading Dragon Boot's guide right now. Have you seen it?
Personally, I'm a bit more of a graphic designer, but I'm going to try my hand at modding. I've got a rough idea of what my mod is going to be. No, I haven't really started yet other than just messing around with CaveEditor. I'm not much for making sprites from scratch, but I'm pretty good at spiffing them up.
I know zero ASM.
Let me know if you'd like a hand with your sprites. I made a really nice facepic for Kaeso once. ^^
I also do a lot of writing and drawing (as you can see from my image gallery) so I expect that my storyline should turn out pretty well.
It might be nice to work together on some things, since we're pretty much both beginners.
I used to work on a StarCraft campaign. That was kind of interesting, but I let it die about a year ago. It was never finished.
