    XD It's Gray from Fairy Tail. So maybe you've seen the anime? If you haven't seen it, it's a very good anime, imo. Or are you talking about the avatar specifically? I'm known as "Frozen炎" on ZFGC (Zelda Fan Game Central), and I have the same avatar there, except ZFGC allows for slightly bigger avatars, so the one on here is a down-sized version. ;3

    LOL, actually I only said that because I felt like putting something new up and it was the first thing that came to mind... don't ask why that was the first thing I thought of though, because I don't even understand why.

    Yep, I'm back. Forgive me for not recognizing you? Were you a part of the CSRP2? Anyway, my interest in Cave Story has been revived since I bought and played Cave Story + on Steam, so that's mostly the reason I'm back. I'm also back because I'm making "A Christmas Cave Story", or whatever I'm going to call it, and I wanted to plug back in to the forums/community here so other fans can know about it and hopefully enjoy it as much as I do when it's completed.

    Ah, no, sorry, I was mostly lurking when you were around, only got active in the community after you're absence.
    Sounds exciting, hopefully that will help get the modding community going again (it's a little on the stale side now)

    Alright, let's go ahead and let everyone else know the plan from now on. It seems like things are a little dead on the thread so I think we should let everyone know that things are happening. :P

    Misunderstandment. There'd be a welcome page, a download page, and then an information page (which would include people, and all other blurbs etc).

    I know. The downloads and music are obviously the most important part of the site, but to me at least, I like reading things. I like knowing things about the people who work so hard to produce stuff. I'm probably an outlier, but I hope I'm not unique because I feel like it sorta disrespects you guys and all your work an dpixel and all his work just to leave yall as names on a piece of paper. That's not what it should be like. I can make the information page by myself probably, but it would be a nice thing to have for those who care.

    I do like the idea of keeping a download page simple because information would only get in the way of what the person wants (which is to download the music). If someone wants information, that should be elsewhere.

    Yup, that's it. Simple, easy, etc download page, and then optional information.

    OH IDEA! If it were possible to have the "download" page just like the csrp download page, but have the artist's names, track titles, and whatnot be links that lead to the appropriate information, that would be really cool, in my opinion anyway.

    - alliteration generally happens when I'm being silly. so do limericks and haikus. if getting rid of it for easy understanding is necesary, that's fine. otherwise, it adds personality.
    - we dunt have to copy the csrp site :P
    - groping is fine. editing is better. truthfully though, I didn't even notice. moral: if you screw up, don't tell anybody. it happens in plays and books all the time.

    Apparently I was so busy typing this up, I didn't see where I posted it. Here ya go. Sorry.
    Hm. As far as the whole spersnizzle goes, I think you're right in saying that king may look a bit strange. The colors also seem off, but I'm not sure why. Per each individual section (highlighted for your convenience):

    THE MAIN PAGE sections could be changed to something more like thus:
    1) About
    2) Notifications

    Where the "about" section would conglom the "welcome" and the applicable "other information" portions, an dthe notifications would be anything of great import ("the wobsite is down!", "everything out tomorrow!" etc), as these are the things that require the most attention and should be displayed.

    THE PEOPLE section you didn't really suggest to change much, except to change "artists" to mixers. The only reason I said artists in the first place was because I adore awesome alliteration. :P Also what do you think about making the bubbles collapsible?

    DOWNLOADS might, too, need to be named less discreetly (again w/ the alliteration). This is also where I would consider moving my blurb to. Upon rereading it, it felt like a preface to me, or one of those letters that comes with the information about your stocks, or anything of the like. Maybe we could do something similar (like have some more in depth/interesting information) but that would only really work for a hardcopy.

    OR! (New idea, stay with me for a mo), we could place the blurb along with all the artist information, and have a do-dandy who-handy information page (for the interested), and then a download page with downloads and a welcome page with welcomes. (we could also stuff some links onto this page) That may be the most obvious way to do it in the end, but I'm fine with either method of doing it.

    Anyways, I agree with the csrp layout, it's pretty nice. As you said, bulk download links, and maybe a itunes/whateveruskidsareusingthesedays pretty link?
    I would also petition to place this tab next to the homepage, because it be of import.



    cool ideas btw, I like that you're active again after a long period of gone-ness.
    (also, what do you think about doing blurbs for each individual atom? maybe if we do a giant information billboard, we could support our decisions with five paragraph essays! evidently, my homework is running into my brain, so I should prolly get back to work, seeya!)
