(complex-ish situation in need of an admin)Is it safe to log onto a vBulletin forum on an unencrypted wifi network? (such that other people spying on the network cannot see or figure out your account password)
It looks like the CS forums login does not use https, yet the password (I think) is scrambled using MD5 before being sent to the server. Is this enough in terms of security?
Well it's not great, but at least we've got a third score in.
Okay so my first trial run gave me a grand total of 100 points, so I'm assuming there are some scoring quirks I should be aware of.
