    going down the pit is hard...... I made ti to level 61, and met my fate against a dark lakitu, and a dark wizzerd. Then I tried again and died two 4 dark boos at level 54.

    I hit level 83 last night.

    Last night I tried to do a pre-hooktail bonetail run I got to level 34, no I didn't die, I had to go to bed, I spent two hours prepping for the run after all.... it was a good practice run though.

    Another good option is to get the money money badge at the parlor (I think it cost about 700 coins?) and then go fight the chain chomps in the shadow palace. They give off a good 30 coins per battle.

    Well, with the right set of badges, it's really easy. The game overall is fairly easy. At least that's what I think what you mean by 'watered down.'

    Super guarding makes anything possible..... as in TAS makes things possible. I know that their are people that have mastered it before, but sheesh, you think their would be a better way to waste time.

    I can't really fathom of you would breech the defense of the latter foes like Moon clefts, or bob-ulks with a mere attack of 2... unless they sold the piercing blow badge at the badge shop..

    But yeah, I though multiple Power rushes would be possible/attack power would stack up, since they are infinite at the casino after all.

    My first time going down the pit..... I was pretty inexperienced as it was my first experience with <del class='bbc'>math</del>turn based RPG's.

    @nameless, it just takes some skill, and good management of your FP, badges, and items. There is more than one way to skin a cat as well.

    Honestly, just beating him is pretty easy with a bit of preparation. It's things like Blink did that get real tough.
