    Finally opened the record player my sister got me for my birthday. It’s pretty neat seeing how vinyls work up close. I guess this means I can finally consider coughing up the cash for that Cave Story vinyl I thought I’d never even think about getting lol

    Yeah I'm pretty sure I saw a profile post not too long ago asking andwhy for the info. I'll have to look for it again since I've forgotten the info on how to order it. It's definitely something I will think about even if the price gets upped. The only vinyl I currently own is the Moana soundtrack, which my sister gave me for my birthday along with the record player.

    I believe my parents own a collection of vinyls somewhere in the family room as well...it's all retro music that was popular when they were kids, I think haha

    I've only just realised today that pretty much all my OneDrive download links have died. Rip old ORG and PxTone downloads.

    I still have them, even on OneDrive. It’s just that the old links died. If I ever remember to, I want to make a shareable archive of all the ORG files I’ve ever completed.

    Ah, okay. Well, Google Drive is probably the best service for long-term storage - its links never expire and you don't have to worry about your files or account being deleted due to inactivity. It does however leak your name, or rather whatever name you have set on your Google account.

    Yesterday at work, a customer unhinged the sliding automatic doors by pushing on the side she wasn't supposed to exit from. And here I always thought I'd see a customer slam into those doors before, you know, nearly breaking them.

    So I work at Staples and yesterday, I accidentally drove a staple into my finger when I was at work. I did it; I'm now the employee who got stapled at Staples.

    No-one bothers to check gender on someone's profile. I could add gender to the post headers if it helps any, but when gender is unknown we generally fall back on the generic he.

    The lack of other effective gender-neutral pronouns in the English language (singular they doesn't count, because it is only singular under specific contexts) means that the generic he is the closest thing we can use without tying ourselves in knots over political correctness. It may sound sexist, but we aren't suggesting that you are dude just because we use the pronouns for it.

    Yeah I can quite evidently tell that no one bothers to check profiles. But if other users recognized that I am a female, then it just seems odd that they would keep referring to me as a "he".

    Sure, I'm probably making a bigger deal out of it than it should be. I wasn't trying to enact change; I just found it kind of interesting.

    A cup of coffee induces headaches and makes me sleepy, but a piece of caffeinated chocolate actually makes me feel more awake. Not to mention caffeinated chocolate tastes delicious! I need to be careful.

    Caffeinated chocolate? Never seen or heard of it before, but it does sound pretty awesome. Better than coffee at least. Honestly coffee can taste alright sometimes but there's always a gross aftertaste :/ And i never feel more awake after coffee anyway lol

    Yeah, it's called Awake Chocolate (http://www.awakechocolate.com/). They sell it in bars and bags at Staples, so I bought one at work. I was thinking it would taste a lot like coffee but it doesn't. In fact, there's just a little bit of bitterness, but it's the right amount that I like to taste from chocolate. If you like chocolate and need some caffeine, I think it's worth at least trying.

    All righty, thanks for your input. If Deck the Halls was *much* better, I would swap, but the reason you mentioned and the original rhythm in Rock of Ages were why I chose it in the first place. Been dying for a second opinion.

    Hee, I've been trying to break away from the sine wave comfort zone lately. They sounded all right as is, but now I'm discovering that, yes, the harsher instruments can sound great too. I hope I don't come to be known as the Sine Wave Queen.
