• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

I did do some finishing touches in some areas, and reverted it from a messy jpeg into a crisp png.

But comparing to what I did and what andwhyisit did, the difference is very plain to me now. I can try to do something similar on whatever future pixel art I would do, and see how it goes then.

Pretty much why I gave up on that one SMW hack.
It only contained one full (but kinda short for my feeling) stage and a redone Yoshi's Island map.
I seem to be going way better with my CS mod though, maybe I improved.

I like the aesthetic part of level design, but mapping it out is hard for me.

No. Why not just say "Hey this poor guy needs money can you donate?" Because lets say you said "I'll donate this money to the study of why the Holocaust didn't happen." Then a bunch of neo-nazis would be pretty pissed off at you when you didnt do anything with that money.
