• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

I've been getting a lot more involved in school activities this year - just got back from a long day of setting up homecoming decorations, in fact. It's more work than I expected, to be honest, but it's also really nice to be working with other people and helping out and stuff! And my heavy involvement with the school's Speech Team might do a lot to patch my slight inability to talk to people. -w-

Our school's clubs are incredibly limited. Very little interest from anything other than the specialty center section. That would be my part of the school. All sports and clubs except Football are primarily the specialty center. I'm doing Model United Nations, Chess club, and I'm on the Student Advisory Council (the specialty center equivalent of the SCA). I don't do too many clubs, but there aren't really any offered at my school that have high turn out/interest me. It's unfortunate. Even the Gay-Straight Alliance is sorely lacking (both gay people and members).

My brain fucking hurts please help me I have homework in every fucking class by the dozen. I have no fucking hope left and I can't handle working day in and day out. I take a half hour break after arriving from school, then constantly work until bedtime because of it. My family is pissed at me and I got my phone taken away because "I'm not trying enough and am distracted". I fucking can't do this.

Do you go to a gifted or specialty center? Just out of curiosity.

I know exactly how you feel. My school's workload is so heavy that everyone in my grade constantly jokes about, "Life? What life? There is only homework." In reality, half of us cry ourselves to sleep at night.

My suggestion is to drop a few extra curricular if you must. Also, realize that not all grades are important. I maintain a steady 90-98 set of grades in all my classes because if an assignment isn't worth a lot, I half ass until it's done.

I also budget my time using Google Calendars. Every day is planned down to the minute, with about four hours left for free time. I guarantee that if you plan things effectively, you will be less stressed. Also, I suggest that you limit homework time to a maximum of three hours with the occasional exception for major projects. School is not worth your sanity.

Also, tell your parents that you are stressed. Tell them that you can't function without communicating with your friends for emotional support, and your phone is your link to that. If they don't understand, if they tell you "no", then treat them exactly the same way. When you have nothing left to lose, you can afford to take risks.

I guess @SuperJaws100 maybe thinks that the majority of active scouts are 10-year olds or that scouting sounds kore like something for little childeren. Or that people in it usually act in ways people hardly do anymore these times, makjng them look like dorks.
Or he just hates the steriotypical scouting uniform, which I find really ugly myself to be honest:/

The big bang theory only indicates how the universe as we know it could have begun, it does not indicate the beginning of the universe. And while the material components of the universe may have a limited shelf life, that does not mean that the universe itself will end, it never did. Then there are the cylical model theories. The only thing you can realistically debunk is the "ever expanding universe" claim, everything else is speculation on your part.
