• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

The newest member of the Routen Band (led by Sonia Routen who began existence as a forum RPG character for something unrelated to Lunar Shadow before... 2015, maybe?) joined (in-universe) on 30 December 2018.

"Routen" comes from "route 10". (Not very creative, but.)

Alright, one of the things I would like to know is if CSE2 supports Cave Story + image size. Is it possible? Do I have to download a hack first? Hey, don't worry, I AM NOT going to use the Cave Story + assets in my mod, but rather create new ones.

It's also editable in /intro/2_titlescreen.xml in Booster's Lab's hackinator in versions 5.0 and higher, but yeah it's editing the same spots that Hina showed you.

Oh, uh, always remember to have more copies of your mod so if you mess up it's not a big deal.
Other than that, if you're starting just mess with the TSC commands and see if you can understand some of them. There are some decent guides for that.

So, while playing the cave story 4th ending mod (ported to psp), I found a glitch where when walking into the bird, I Had no i- frames, causing me to instantly lose all 41 of my health and die...

Technically, you won't need to do that with <VAR0006 being around, I can install the patch for that.

HOWEVER, that affects the player as well, unless you decide to be clever and have the Quote entities use a separate bitmap (through npc.tbl), then maybe it can work? You may need to include clone MyChars, just in case you do want an aesthetic change to the player.

Actually, an idea just hit me now. Because <VAR0006 is at use instead of <MIM, what can probably be done is have a separate variable affect only the Quote NPCs, with full on acknowledgement that they can't be used for the player in terms of cutscenes (unless the cutscenes involve only the player, then go wild) and they still need their separate bitmap used for it. I can provide the hack if you'd like.

Status: Working on finalizing the boss designs for the Diamond Dog's final phase and Taboo Zone's second boss. In addition, I'm also working to get the second phase fully functional (i.e death animations and both bosses having their own spritesheets).
