• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

i got confused the first time i read a forums site, not knowing what a signature was. it annoyed me how there was unrelated text/references in every post.

Yeah, same pretty much. I was mostly just unsure of what the *purpose* of all of that appended text was, though. I always thought the name "signature" was a bit confusing for it, because often times you're not putting your name in it, but I guess that's the closest word I could think of that fits the description.

Why do people in youtube comment sections insist to make an entirely different comment with an @ to someone elses username instead of using the reply button so you have to scroll through all the terrible low effort one-liner comments to know the context

Actually, the reply button was a thing, but then the assimilation with Google+ happened in like, 2014/2015(?), and all replies prior became normal comments
