• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

I find this statement to be ironic considering that -128 translates to +128 in CS (in terms of damage), which is the most positive damage amount in the game. Equip a -128 weapon and it will heal your enemies.

A VPS exists as a disk image with an equal share of a full server's disk space and resources. For all intents and purposes a VPS and dedicated server work exactly the same, except for the VPS having a percentage of the space and resources a dedicated host would have. That said you need to have stupid amounts of traffic to even consider going dedi (I am talking many millions of people) because it is prohibitively expensive.

I wouldn't count on either Rip or Tess coming out before Christmas haha, not with how early both are in production (at least a year's worth of work for both each, I'd guess). We're still wrapping up OneShot production right now anyways, finishing up the localizations (and then the mac and Linux ports).

Oh wow I guess I haven't been paying that much attention to it then, I though OneShot was pretty much done when it was first released, oops.

I'm sure your Japanese knowledge has helped at least that much with the localization in that department unless there's someone who's on your team that's dedicated to it already. I heard you were called on the the team at a later part of development so I wouldn't think you helped write the story in any fashion though now that I think about it.

Well I hope that the porting works out well, and the game won't crash on the mac port when you beat a challenge level. ;)

Why do I tend to glitch the basic starting things in Cavestory when I try to share the game? A good example of this is whenever I gave a copy of the game to a friend and he started a new game, it spawned him next to a welcome to hell sign.

probably because you still have the profile.dat in there? you should always delete that when you want to publicly host a mod, along with the manual folder, window.rect, orgview, etc.
