• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

If it is an actual countdown then specify what you are counting down to and don't repeatedly spam said countdowns.

So "10 days until X comes out" is fine. "10 days" by itself will get you banned. However that said all things exist in moderation.

When people (read:Camero) are getting temporary bans (repeatedly) over posting generic countdowns in the profile feed the last thing you want to do is follow the trend. Just a friendly warning from me to you. I don't care if you copy+paste some other meme, but leave this one alone or it will get you into trouble.

To explain better.. if you look at a tide chart you will notice two low tides and two high tides during a day. That is the gravity of the sun at work, causing the tides. If you notice how the heights of the tides change from day to day, that is the moon at work. The moon has less gravity than the sun, but it creates variations in tide height over a 28 day cycle. Which is why you see little moon phase icons next to each day on your tide chart. This is where the misconception stems from: "There are moon icons on my tide chart, so the moon must cause the tides".

If the moon didn't exist then tides would still exist. The difference being that every high-low-high-low tide cycle would be exactly the same on a day-to-day basis.

The sane people could've been moderators had they stayed and helped out. Not to say we have smart people in the mod positions, but it'd be interesting to speculate what a cstsf could've looked like with different moderators.

I've been playing the hell out of A Hat In Time. I love it, mostly because it reminds me of Super Mario 64 which is like, my go to happy game, but with better controls and the main character is as expressive as Wind Waker Link. It's wonderful.
