What about using left and right to select a character with up and down skipping forward or back 6 characters. There are more that enough ways to accommodate a controller for inputting characters. And yes I do have a keyboard in front of me, but that doesn't make continuously picking up and putting down my controller to perform alchemy any less irritating.

That's not as hard to do as the whole onscreen-keyboard thing, I guess. I still don't really feel all that into it though. I'd say do the hack yourself if you want it so bad but a) that's not very nice and b) you don't know how anyway.

 

Besides, making more than two characters is impossible.

It's just difficult.
And by characters we mean letters/numbers/symbols.

Since it's an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT hack to have it so that there are more player skins. [/sarcasm]

(it's an easy hack, and if they're making text input well then that one should be easy, if not already implemented.)

 

I already put it in a while ago.
Basically, the char offsets are plus var * 20, and then I made a TSC command that changes the var.

Also gir, if people dunt know asm, how are they to know what hacks are harder than others?

As it may be known, my luck with netbooks, laptops et al is terribad.
That said, it is also know MiSsI has passed on due to a bad BIOS.
Truely a sad loss.
BUT!

WatS was spared and has lain dormant on an 8 Gb MicroSD card since that fateful day.
Dormant in progress, that is.
But great strides have been made in the story.
Though setbacks, problems, and suicide attempts have tried to kill Willow, she marches on.
However, work cannot resume immediately, as I still lack a computer of my own (this being posted from my bishie Leah's rig. God I'm jelly.)
