Well, to be honest, all you need to build Curly Brace is put the right casing on a killer-bot and re-program the personality. The really hard part is to get the killer-bot (and not get killed by it).

Yeah, I did think about building my own Curly Brace after finishing college. So what? At least robots are realistic, unlike Mimigas.

I will argue. He looks like a badass, and it's even more awesome how he's covered with rust and old shit. 10 years ago he'd have cut you up for saying that.
Plus he explodes. Everyone knows explosions = cool.

Yeah, he looks badass just like a guy without his jawbone looks badass, and while being rusty may (using this word very loosely) be benefical, it surely doesn't help his attractiveness much.
And I don't really know how pleasant explosions are in bed.
