And Momorin looks Kazuma's age, only with lighter skin.

 

Like I said earlier, old people are very difficult to cute-ify. Even though Moromin's portrait in Cave Story looks way too young to be Kazuma's mother. Yes?

Misery IS like seven. That's why her sprite's so small.

She did not age. Hence getting all liek old at the end.

 

She looks a lot older than seven in her portrait. I figured that she was just kept short, and once the Demon Crown was destroyed she grew to her full height... or something. I don't think she got all liek old.

 

You know, Misery is a witch. She may look like she is seven, but she is still older than Booster.

Right. Because if she looked as old as she was she'd be a skeleton. Not very cute.
Although, I don't doubt there's hundreds of adorable chibi skeletons out there.

Heck, not even Jenka looks nearly as old as she really is, and she didn't spend hundreds of years in a hibernation bubble. One has to wonder why there aren't more of these super-old magical people around.

 

Because you have to sell your soul to get immortality. Not many people are willing to do that, especially in the happy fun times world of Cave Story. Now, I wonder who you would sell your soul to...
