Yeah, I know. But I did play an English translation of Metal Gear 2 on an MSX emulator.

Don't you hate it when that happens?

Besides Spelunky, I started playing a little more Binding of Isaac. That game is far more fun (or maybe just addicting) than I imagined. I recommend it!

Oh yeah, I've heard of that! Nice to see someone other than me, Ben Silverman, and Jose Fubar Sanchez know about this game ^^

Also, I recently got into Spelunky(and it makes me very happy to hear that it was made in GameMaker ^V^)

I love mari0! It's so unique... The developer is cool as well...

Anyways... What I've recently started playing is Black Mesa Source. (That one fan-recreation of the first half-life)
diph.php

I have to say its really fun. And pretty lengthy for a free game made by a group of modders.

The best thing though... Is that since I'm on a Mac most of the time, I got it to work under a highly refined wine installing system without using a full directory or bootcamp style process....

It wasn't easy...but I'm pretty sure it was worth it.

Black Mesa was really a great imagining of Half-life. Hard to believe it is FREE. I played about half-way through and stopped when I found out I couldn't get my guard friends to make it through an obstacle in the cafeteria...

I loved saving trying to save people xD

ALSO, I believe the end of Half-life
At the alien world
hasn't been released yet for Black Mesa. So I'm kinda waiting to play the entire game at once... Though I hear it ends well enough already.

Also, I broke down and got a few new games today, to add to my list of .... thousands I need to catch up on someday ><

Some were from the humble bundle (PC/MAC/Linux/android) currently going on.
https://www.humblebundle.com/

Stealth Bastard Deluxe in particular has been an enjoyable stealth platformer competition trying* get my name in the top 100 for each level lol.

Though I really got it for Organ Trail (lol zombie adventure), and for that Broken Sword adventure game which I hadn't heard of... but seems it's supposed to be some kind of classic??

Aquaria is good too, but I already had that...

Unrelated, I also got Unepic, that game Carrotlord brought up, through GOG for 5$, and then logged on the official game site for a free Steam key (steam has it priced at 7.99? so saved a couple). I've been curious about that game, will check it sometime...

Oh, and the sale is over but I got Mark of the Ninja since it had such a high meta-critic rating, and I thought Shank was surprisingly decent.

Too lazy for a screenshot, but for some reason I've been playing Monopoly (PC version by Big Fish Games). I rarely play board games anymore, on or off of the computer, but I had a strange desire a couple days ago to buy the game and I've played it quite a lot in the past couple of days. This is very strange behavior for me. I am bewildered by the fun I am having playing it.

I stopped playing Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance a month ago.
It got annoying fast. The adventure-hack-and-slash-open-chest-awesomeness part of the game was cool, but the oh-god-stop-dropping-i-want-to-play-as-riku-you-massive-twat-and-i-was-almost-done-with-that-boss part really sucks. Definitally not my favorite in the series.

You could always buy some "Drop-Me-Not"s, or "Drop Me Never"s, they prevent you from dropping when you use them.
And I sure hope you looked up what happens in the game after you quit, because the whole game's events are crucial if you plan on playing KH3, as DDD is intended as the prologue.

I have terrible timing between my game playing and this thread, so I almost never have a screenshot to present, but I beat Final Fantasy VII last night for the first time, after having owned a copy for 5 years or so and just never getting around to it. Definitely my favorite of the series, and in my opinion, the most satisfying ending to any game I've played.

Got over Monopoly (whew!) and I've been playing a mecha fighter game called Megabyte Punch! It plays a lot like the SSB games, but it's still in beta and lacking online multiplayer, atm. Right now I'm at a very dark and mysterious part in the single player adventure. Maybe the story is about to get interesting? (spoiler because of large screenshot)
