Hmm... I want something manly. Or sweet. Ohhh I can't decide...
(He looks a bit on edge. Maybe there's something that might help?)
Anyway, I haven't played much lately (if you don't count mobile GAMES... ergh! Wasting too much time on them... Playing for like 5 accounts a day, almost 30 minutes each? Way too much...)
I did get FaceRig from humblebundle, while not technically a game, I did have some fun with it:
(look at the lower right hand corner, I made a simple Night in the Woods avatar lol)
Wanting to play OneShot, and desperately waiting for Iconoclasts news. That long awaited game should be showing up sometime soon I hope.
Lastly, was attempting to do something for that Cave Story contest, but being out of town and facing real life "=(" events... aren't helping things.
I've never seen a rhythm game quite like this. Can you even begin to follow the arrows? (And they did a blind playthrough...)
I downloaded it and tried it with a controller... A solid 800~ misses lol
(Here's the full playthrough for the curious)
The last time I was this mesmerized was seeing a Touhou boss on ultra difficulty and wanting to try it.
Been playing a lot of Quake Live in my freetime after school. Good stress reliever, controls are so smooth and everything dies with a satisfying "DING". Here's a screenshot of me wondering "how'd that rocket launcher get up there?" before my friend Zach walks in and casually destroys me.
Doki Doki Literature Club
(It's good. Avoid screenshots and spoilers.)
(Too short and random, but enjoyed this adventure game a bunch. It's about a world between life and death, in the form of something like Alice and Wonderland...)
(I played using a Quote sprite in this mini prequel to the fun Ghost metroidvania. Only 1 USD on sale.)
Press X To Not Die
(Uh... Haha. Almost a waste of money, but it's cheap and an amusing concept. A simple QTE game in the form of live action. Way too short... And not serious enough for my taste, but interesting enough for 2$ on sale... Also, Chocolate.)
Project Diva F
Project Diva F 2nd
(Between the 60fps patch and the 4k upscale using RPCS3, I'm still enjoying this Hatsune Miku game.)
(Zombies with a friend.)
Hero and Daughter+
("Cute" rpgmaker but WAY TOO GRINDY)
Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force
(Hm... I regret getting this one, though I haven't gotten too far. A RPG with a zero hero, aka, he's not really much of a hero......)
(Interesting look at the international space station in VR. Would be more fun with ZERO G! Still, informative. Btw, I apologize about the billion dollar satellite I scratched...)
Bioshock Infinite VR via VorpX
(Pretty cool... But, VR really needs an omni directional treadmill... Moving around with an arrow key in VR is odd...)
Abzu VR via VorpX
(Wow, LOVE this VR experience. Too bad I get horrible FPS... otherwise it would be a show stopper.)
(Eh... It's okay. Simple cute 3d game in VR. Would prefer A Hat in Time I bet. It was free though!)
Consortium: The Tower
(I really like this strange series. It's still in alpha or beta, but it's jam packed FULL of choices. This new game adds a much better sci-fi FPS experience. It really needs more exposure if they pull it off...)
Project Diva F Mix
(A fan version with some... interesting new songs.)
(VR with a giant mech... What's not to love?)
(Only played a bit, but looks great. Interesting spin with the main character's background!)
It's a "Castlevania meets DooM" kind of thing.
If you're into both, just like me, you might enjoy this. (Just don't play on one of the hardest difficulties or you won't have much fun, trust me; the scarce health pickups don't match DooM's gameplay very well.)
