This is particularly good for the Nemesis or leveling other weapons in the nick of time...

But I really stink at it...>>; Unless there's enough room for my reflexes to kick in...

Is there any way to shape up on switching my weapons? I only have the Snake, Missile Launcher, and the Nemesis, so switching between the Nemesis and the Missile Launcher (Which is my leveling target) isn't going to be an issue as the Bubbler isn't there...

I did search 'weapon switching' around, but I don't know...

Pretty much...Sorry if I seemed vague earlier; my mind must be thinking of something else.

Haha, if only I had a good controller to do that. :D Maybe WiiWare would take care of that.

In the meantime, it's only A and S for me. D:

It's what I had to do. Don't worry, you'll have those weapons leveled up before you really need them at level 3.
Also, my advice would be to not go with the Snake or Nemesis. Use the Machine Gun or Spur for your main weapon, and keep your Blade. It's good for when you run out of missiles as you're fighting a boss.

Again with my vagueness. :> Sacred Grounds treatment for my array of weapons up there. I do understand the usefulness of the Spur/Machine Gun though. If I really do need to polish on weapon switching though, I may need to use the Spur...especially since there's no leveling needed.

I agree in that case because Bubbler has a use outside shooting~, Quote can use it to take a nice bath. xD

I highly recommend you do not use the Snake in Sacred Ground.
Also, the Spur is not flat-out better than the MC. The Spur can't get leveled down like the MC can, but the Machine Gun gives you nearly unlimited flight. This is incredibly useful on most levels, like "Egg Corridor?" and Sacred Ground, plus you can shoot from above your enemies, something most of them aren't programmed for.
So, Snake < Machine Gun or Spur.
And how are you using the Bubbler, Lowell? I'd take a Super Missile Launcher over that any day.

The Spur's pretty awesome during boss fights {It massacres a good portion of the Ballos fights}, and how can you miss with a lazor 3 times wider then you're tall?
Anyways, not picking up the Machine Gun means Curly gets to use it instead of your Polar Star ^.^ {Besides, I don't need unlimited flying, =P}
And, how do I not use the Bubbler? It's like a walking, killer barrier that can kill masses of small, hard-to-hit enemies. Who doesn't like a gun that can fill up the screen with projectiles in seconds?
I'ma try using it and only it in Sacred Grounds >=D

I pretty much use the Snake for removing the Deleets through the walls, as it's a time-saver on the Third Floor...

The last time I fought Ballos and won or whatever, the power-ups from the Devils kind of leveled it up nicely. XD

Psh.
You should try the Spur on Ballos' second form.
You can fire through one of his eyes and have it exit out the other =D

You could always go into your item menu and change weapons there instead of switching in real time.

Besides, "Q" is farther away from "Z" and "X" on the keyboard then "A" and "S" are.

Sorry to put you down, Mr. Kirby, but I find switching out weapons to level them up to be fairly easy, unless you need to get every single crystal. Practice makes perfect.

Using the Missile Launcher for regular enemies is a bad strategy.

He's right, but there are a lot of places in Hell where you can rack up the crystals for one weapon while using another, some examples I can think of, is at the first bomb on the wall, there are the big angels, kill then avoiding the crystals then switch to the missile launcher to level it up. Then right after that there is an angel spawner, just stand to the right(I stand on a destroyable block) then use Curly to shoot them, then you just grab the spoils. And if you don't have a enough at the end, the green devils give 5 exp for each one you kill.

Not always, they drop rockets like candy for me. =D

But if you're worried about a speed run in Hell, you got all of those exp boxes to max the Rocket Launcher with, so that shouldn't be one of the weapons you use :D

If I recall correctly they only get it to level 2.
