Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

I think this shows how Cave Story has kinda become culturally irrelevant in the modern era, understandably so considering how modern indie games dwarf it in both popularity but overall polish and accessibility. NICALiS needs to treat Cave Story as a franchise if they want it to become truly profitable, but I'd rather put my dollars on Kero Blaster at this point.

Undertale is objectively better in terms of music but I like Cave Story's consistency alot

I think both games have good music, but I like that Quote reps indie games 2010 and under, while papyrus only reps undertale and puzzle games.

nicalis needs to shut up about cave story and hire someone better than them to make cave story 2

The arrangements did some things I didn't like, but I still voted Quote for the possibility of other indie game music. Too bad it lost... but, Papryus and ZUN were using songs with tons of good songs squished into one composition. Needed to really up the ante.
