I did a search and I don't think we actually have a thread for this so...

This is a thread where you can post video games remixes you like or hate or remixes you have made or whatever, so long as it is a remix.

Here's one I (just) made:

I think we should rate each other too. Otherwise it'll be similar to kindergarten when everybody wants to speak at the same time.

10/10 Nice work, I like it.

Hah! I was just about to create a thread about this; and what do you know... created yesterday xD

I was going to ask people if they knew some good soundtrack remix projects to recommend...

Since I love Metroid + Metal; Here is my recommendation to check out :

"Metroid covers of Metal Goodness"
http://www.metroidmetal.com/

There's a ton of songs that are free to download there.
They also have some pay to download in any format albums with even more remixes...
You can hear samples here :
http://metroidmetal.bandcamp.com/
(I bought the CDs though on their site lol)

There's also a free Metroid tribute album that came out recently :

How did I miss this?

Nice VVVVVV megamix GiR... Brings back memories.
Not sure what section is my favorite. 2:36 is hard to beat though~
"V" "GOTCHA"! xD

Also @Rattle Battle Jazzle,
While usually not my favorite instruments, the sax, and (accordian or some carnival sounding-instrument I can't place?); it really fits in that fun song.

I feel bad I was too self-focused to see those D:

Before noticing those, this is what I was going to post :

That remix of Duke 3d's grabbag theme, pretty nice.
Rest in pieces Duke... Rest in pieces...

Well, I'll be the first to not hear of such Cave Story remixes before. They sound interesting; I'll have a look at them later, soon as YouTube videos buffer faster on my computer.

Okay, while on the subject of Cave Story (:D), I'll share one of my favourite remixes of the Cave Story theme.

*BUMP*
(Just making sure this thread even existed, so that I didn't accidentally create a second one when posting these)

Got two remixes I recently worked on, and I thought I'd present them here to get some critique before I uploaded them to YouTube.
My first attempt at remixing anything from the Sonic games:
Ice Cap Zone

And a combination of Aquarius and Mad Forest from Castlevania III. (With some Circle of the Moon thrown in there.)

Hmmm... I liked the Ice Cap remix, it was really nice but it felt kinda like it was building up to something but there really wasn't much for it to build up to. Of course, I don't know shit about music and remixes, I'm just used to hearing remixes that have larger changes within them. Other than that pretty good. The Castlevania one... I haven't actually played Circle of the Moon ever nor have I listened to the soundtrack but I have played Castlevania 3 and heard Aquarius from that video that The Amazing Brando made and I have to say... It was great! I really like how you mixed Aquarius and Mad Forest since they both have a similar style. It really fits well and sounds very fitting for Castlevania. I don't really have much I can say about it except well, it was good.

This remix of Magitek Factory from ff6 is pretty great.
