Various Endings for Cave Story?

After playing this addictive game for 4 days, that brings me fond memories of my younger days, I only get a Total of 4 Possible Endings?
1> Bad End = Agrees to escape together with Kazuma Sakamoto on his dragon
2> Normal End = Defeat Undead Core, and jumps off with Sue
3> Special End = Defeat Undead Core with Mimiga Mask, and jumps off with Sue
4> Good End = Defeat Ballos

Also, with 4 possible variations for Normal/Special End, and 1 variation for Good End.

Did I miss out anything?

 

how does one go up the rocket with a mimiga maks on? she takes it. or do you not talk to her and she just lets you go?

 

She just lets you go. But you won't get back your booster.


What about agreeing to escape with Kazuma with mask on? Or will he have flewn away already by then?

 

Oh wow, how stupid of me. I didn't even realize there was a "special ending" from wearing the mimiga mask. I ought to go back and try that.

That speaks the passion the game designer had placed into this game =P

And thats why you and me are here in this forum, cuz this is a great game!
Wonders why this is not the top 10 best game, rather than that "Hunted Forever" Flash game...

 

You can't go with Kazuma with the mask, because he disappears once the rocket's finished--he did say he'd go without you if things got dire.

wouldnt jumping off the cliff outside the caves count as an ending? I mean, it clearly states that you were never seen again.

And this pixel guy managed to tell this little story in one of the most entertaining way ever...

It brings me back to why I play games... an interactive storyline... and Cave Story has an entertaining interactive storyline =D

What about the minor variation on the okay-ish ending where you still have the Little in your inventory?

 

I wonder if anyhting happens if you beat the game with a dog n oyur back AND beat ballos? with no life pot?

 

you can't beat the game with the dog on your back. jenka must take it for you to get to toroko.

Btw you can beat Toroko with a dog on your back but you will not bring him to the Laby. Misery's spell doesn't work on canine.
