Yes that is quite anecdotal to say the least, and just to think, all the trouble I had to go through to get that link...

FYI, this release can't be called a beta. I'm not even sure this should be called an alpha release. Spoilers: it's one room. With one enemy. And one chest. And left-facing sprites. Quote, with his magical Muscle Shirt of Invisibility, transforms into Reiku (or whoever the main character is) when you turn around. But hey, Wrighton put some walls in, "so you don't fall off the map."
So that's a nice feature.
I was going to offer constructive criticism, but the only thing I can say to this is "Three months after announcing your mod, you should have at least one thing finished."

The idea of a beta is that it's meant to be glitch-free.

Having unfinished sprites counts as a glitch, especially when you don't even mention it the post where you put the download link (though I can't totally blame you for that, since WoodenRat was the one who actually posted it).

...In seriousness, isn't the purpose of a beta to test for and weed out glitches? (Though this is kinda off topic because that is a seriously unfinished beta...)

Sorry, I worded that wrong. Allow me to clarify what I meant:

The idea of a beta is that there are no glitches that the author is aware of and doesn't tell the beta testers. Then the testers find glitches that the author is NOT aware of and report them. That way we don't waste time reporting glitches that the author is already aware of. Ryuuoutan should have either finished the sprites BEFORE posting the beta, or told us that the sprites are unfinished.

She also should have put more content in and a clear indicator of the end of the demo before posting it but that's an entirely different issue (and probably a more important one, actually).
