before theres a beta release there needs to be one of the characters finally chosen. :/

 

Just choose Reimu for playability.
Marisa would be impossible, while most of Reimu's abilities would be relatively easy to create.

i can try Reimu, ill work on the sprites now. Ill find some way with Marisa..

 

Eh at least Touhou looks pretty, unlike Cave (the shmoop developer) stuff. There should be space for some fun weapons in such a mod. If you end up having too much difficulty with them though you might want to try out The Underside's editor, since I think it comes with its own fancy weapon maker now.

In the meantime, cut the back-and-forth if you'd all be so kind :/

The Underside comes with it's own editor, so that people can make mods.

It would probably be a lot more popular, if the game was finished (cue schoko or fire or someone coming in and saying "or if it was good").

But DT's probably right about it being easier to create custom weapons with the underside.
