Sorry for the delays, honestly there was absolutely no excuse for it. We were equally lazy.
However, we are now proud to announce: Voting for the "People's Choice" award is now open!
As those who read the OP would know: The primary awards (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will be awarded only by the scores assigned by the judges. In addition to these primary awards, we will have a people's choice award. This community vote will decide which mod has the most merit as a community, and will earn a cash prize equal to the 1st place judges prize!
What's more, all entries which earn a cash prize will have their mod streamed by duncathan to help show the winners off!
If any additional non-cash prizes (steam keys, art commissions, etc) are donated, they will be awarded on a "first-dibs" basis starting with 1st place, then the people's choice winner, then the rest of the winners in order.
Please refer to the OP for more details.
HERE ARE THE RULES FOR VOTING:
1. Play the mods. I'm serious. Attempt to play every single one of them before you even think about continuing.
There are only five mods, and you can find them in either folder below (contact me if you need help):
| Google Drive Folder | Dropbox Folder They blocked some mods for some reason. Use Google.| 2. You can't vote if you submitted a mod to this contest, or heavily assisted with someone who did submit a mod under their name. If you privately judged or are providing prizes then feel free to vote as well. 3. Only one submission per individual. Non-serious or maliciously-intended votes will be void from final counting as determined by the staff. 4. Follow all instructions within the form itself on how to properly complete it. Submissions will be private. 5. You may share and politely argue for your picks publically, but do not forcely impose your viewpoint on others or cause any other drama within the forums or either Discord group. 6. We wish for users to vote unbiasedly toward their favorite mods, even if they might not have been the best under objective lenses. The main judge prizes will take care of this, so feel free to vote based on what you enjoyed. 7. After you have read and agree to follow all above rules, you can click here to vote.
The DEADLINE for this poll is Sunday, December 10th at 12:00am (midnight) CST (not CDT). At this time all submissions after will be voided even if it takes some time to disable the form. Shortly after (and we mean actually within a couple of days not that bullshit months we had you guys waiting for) we will release the results for both the Judges and Community ranking, and prize allocation will follow.
Good luck to our entrants! Be civil! and thanks for being a part of 2017's Modcon!
Considering that it took 8 days for Dunc to get back to me in DM's on discord to write a 30 second reply, (on somewhat important business at that) I wouldn't get my hopes up guys.
