It would have been better if you would have told us that before. "It's because of forum security", while rather vague, is at least much better than "I have my reasons which I'm not telling".

It would have been better if the users would just shut up and accept the decision or at least turn on their brain before they post, instead of obsessing about a paranoid idea.

Also, have you ever thought about the privacy of every user? Ban reasons aren't shouted out loud anymore for a reason. If you know someone personally, that person will tell you the reason anyway.

Edit: Also, MS knows now that I banned her, if she is a SAdmin she could access the forums anyway (doesn't matter if she's banned or not) and then she could ban me. Great job people. If she is going to take over the forums then have fun contacting SkyeWelse and wait 5 years until everything is fixed. I'm so fucking sick of this. Jeez, how stupid can someone be?

If the forums are so bad for your mental health, then leave; having an admin who is pissed off at the forums is bad for everyone. If you're sick of being the only active admin, appoint another admin. Simple solutions...

"I don't care about my public image" you might say, but then ask yourself. Do you care about the forums? If you have a bad public image, the forums will have too much drama.

More importantly, the miraigamer site will have a bad image. Newbies viewing this thread could quickly change their mind about membership, and never come back, decreasing the userbase. This probably what hen, but it's what could happen. Having a faulty admin is discouraging.

There will be always drama on miraigamer. I'm kinda sick of these forums, they are not good for my mental health.

There is a difference between caring about the forums and all users than a few ones who are not able to do anything else than flaming and feel like they are the government of the forums.
For example Captain Fab hates me for no apparent reason.
Fire1052 flames me for no reason and always tells me how much I suck at english.
Other people give me shit if I don't hand out information.

Regarding everything else:
WoodenRat made a really excellent post. I'ma try and talk to SP this evening about... whatever-ness, see if I can at least get some personal understand from his view. I'm not saying that his was of going about the bans was the best idea, but there's also something to be said for having a bit of knowledge about the forum history and paying attention to what people have been saying about the place. Fire and Meta were hardly banned out of the blue.

As per usual this whole thing is very silly. SP leaving the site is probably the worst thing that could happen at the moment because there will be no active staff left on the site who can actually access anything. I don't have time to go into huge detail at the moment but let's just say I am going to be incredibly pissed off if I have to clean up this mess on my own.
