he doesn't make a living off of fishing. He does it for the sport. The mimiga village obviously isn't a society with money. Besides, mimigas don't eat fish, they eat flowers. Forgetting the details, aren't we?
I'm pretty sure they eat both.

Ain't fishin' for sport kinda cruel? Or do you mean most of the time the fish don't get injured?

Most sport-fishing is done with fast, powerful fish like Marlin. These also happen to taste pretty bad, so they're usually released, but there are a lot of others that don't. Like Barramundi. Mmm, delicious Barramundi...

The eye door is made for you to think there may be others, so you will feel paranoid of all doors later on

Don't answer that, I'm sure you could if you really wanted to.

Doors are indeed not your friend.
My friend Taylor learned that the hard way, as well as the importance of saving.

Meh, you know if having to repeat first cave is "hard way", then Sacred Grounds would be like.... hell.

Unless that Taylor thing you mentioned had something to do with the .gif you posted along, which.... I say takziah for.

I believe that its purpose is to frustrate. First time playing I spent a bunch of time leveling the Polar Star and then I went to go through the door and got leveled down. I was quite angry.

I wonder if there's anyone 1337 enough that they didn't get fooled by the door the first time playing.

When I first played it, I died not to the spikes, but to the bats... I thought that my HP would refill after I grabbed the Heart Cont-- I mean Health Capsule... >.> When I got the gun I broke my X key.

The door didn't get me the 1st time through, as I was being extra cautious about the critters since I touched one of the spikes on the way back up...

I'm not 1337 enough, though, because I got hit by the critter to the right of the Start Point doorway before I got the Polar Star... Twice. It merely looked like a large rock to me... Until it jumped up, that is.

Me, thinking to myself: (I REALLY don't want to try & go past the spikes over there. I'm guessing one of these star blocks can be pushed, right? Well, I'll just stand on this rock and-)
Critter: Phu!
Me again: (Holy [expletive], that thing's ALIVE?!)
Quote: ...
In the time as I was trying to see what hurt, I waited around long enough for the critter to deal a 2nd hit.
Quote: ... (Get to the Health Refill box, meatbag!)
Me once more: (Okay, definitely do NOT go that way next time.)

I saw that freakin' door... It had an eye on it, man. No way I wasn't gonna shoot it.
